In the Name of Allāh, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful. Say: He is Allah, the One; Allah, the Sustainer needed by all. He begot no one nor was He begotten. No one is comparable to Him.
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful. Say: I take refuge with the Lord of the daybreak — from the evil in what He has created, from the evil of darkness as it descends, from the evil of those who blow on knots to cast spells, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of humankind, the Sovereign of humankind, the God of humankind — from the evil of the slinking whisperer, who whispers into the hearts of people—whether from among jinn or humankind.
Did you think We had created you in vain, and that you would not be brought back to Us? Far exalted is God, the True Sovereign — there is no god but He, Lord of the magnificent throne! Whoever prays to another god alongside Him, for which it is inconceivable for him to have any evidence, will face his reckoning with his Lord. Those who reject the truth will not prosper. Say: Lord, forgive and have mercy: You are the most merciful of all.
So celebrate God’s glory when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning — praise is due to Him in the heavens and the earth — and in the late afternoon and when noon arrives. He brings the living out of the dead and the dead out of the living. He gives life to the earth after it has died. And in the same way, you too will be brought forth.
If We had sent this Qur’an down on a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and split apart in its awe of God. We offer people such illustrations so that they might reflect. He is God — there is no god but He — the Knower of all that is hidden and all that is manifest. He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy. He is God — there is no god but He — the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace, the Granter of Security, the Guardian over all, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Truly Great. Glory be to God, far above anything they associate with Him. He is God — the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner of forms. To Him belong the most beautiful names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him, and He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.
O Allah, I have entered this morning blessed with Your favor, well-being and protection, so complete Your favor upon me, Your well-being, and Your protection in this world and the next. (3 times)
O Allah, I have entered this morning calling You to witness, and calling the Bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, there is no god but You alone without any partner, and that our master Muhammad is Your servant and messenger. (4 times)
I believe in Allah the Magnificent, I denounce all false objects of worship and every false power, and I grasp the firmest handhold that never breaks — and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (3 times)
I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with our master Muhammad (Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him and his family) as Prophet and Messenger. (3 times)
O Allah, You are my Lord — there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I hold to my covenant and my promise to You as well as I can. I seek Your refuge from the evil I have done. I recognize the blessings You have given me and I confess my sins, so forgive me, for none forgives sin except You.
Whatever Allah wills comes to be, and what He does not will does not come to be. There is no ability to change from one state to another, nor any strength, except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
O Allah, I seek Your refuge from the evil of my own self and from the evil of every creature You have taken by the forelock. My Lord’s way is straight.
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer! It is by Your mercy I cry out for help, and from Your punishment I seek shelter. Set right all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, nor to any of Your creation, for even the blink of an eye.
O Allah, I seek Your refuge from anxiety and sorrow, I seek Your refuge from incapacity and laziness, I seek Your refuge from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek Your refuge from overwhelming debt and being overpowered by others.
O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me — and I seek refuge in Your Greatness from unexpected harm from below me.
O Allah, it is You who created me, You who guide me, You who feed me, You who give me drink, You who take my life, and You who give me life — and You have power over all things.
We have risen this morning on the natural way of Islam, upon the word of pure devotion to Allah alone, on the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family), and upon the way of Ibrāhīm, who was upright, a Muslim, and was never among those who associate others with God.
O Allah, by You we live to morning, and by You we live to evening. By You we live and by You we die. In You we place our trust, and to You we shall all be raised.
O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day and the good it holds, and the good of what came before it and the good of what comes after it. And I seek Your refuge from the evil of this day and the evil it holds, and the evil of what came before it and the evil of what comes after it.
O Allah, there is no blessing at all that I wake with this morning, or any of Your creation wakes with, except that it comes only from You, without partner. So all praise is Yours and all thanks is Yours for that.
Transcendent is Allah and praise belongs to Him — as many times as the number of His creation, the extent of His good pleasure, the magnitude of His Throne, and the ink it would take to write His words. (3 times)

There is no god except Allah, One without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and He gives death, and He has power over all things” — multiplied by the number of every atom in existence, a thousand times over. (3 times)
O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the key to the gate of Your mercy — blessings and peace as countless as all that is in Your knowledge, enduring as long as Your sovereignty endures; and upon his family and companions” — multiplied by the number of every atom in existence, a thousand times over.
