SUPPLICATION FOR LEAVING THE HOUSE:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ آمَنتُ بِاللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، ولَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

In the name of Allah, I believe in Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no ability to change from one state to another, nor any strength, except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.

SUPPLICATION FOR WALKING TO THE MOSQUE AND ANY ACT OF OBEDIENCE:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ السَّائِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ، وَبِحَقِّ الرَّاغِبِينَ إِلَيْكَ، وَبِحَقِّ مَمْشَايَ هَذَا إِلَيْكَ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَخْرُجْ أَشَرًا وَلَا بَطَرًا وَلَا رِيَاءً وَلَا سُمْعَةً، بَلْ خَرَجتُ اتِّقَاءَ سَخَطِكَ وَابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ أَن تُعِيذَنِي مِنَ النَّارِ، وَتُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ، وَتَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

O Allāh! I ask You by the right of those who ask of You, and by the right of those who turn to You in hope, and by the right of this walk I am making to You. O Allāh! I have not left my home out of insolence, or arrogance, or to show off, or pursuit of reputation. Rather, I have come out fearing Your displeasure and seeking Your pleasure. I ask You to protect me from the Fire, admit me to Paradise, and forgive my sins, for none forgives sins except You.

SUPPLICATION FOR ENTERING THE MOSQUE:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِه، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

In the Name of Allāh. O Allāh! Bestow blessings upon our master Muḥammad and his family. O Allāh! Forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy. -Enter with your right foot, with the intention of i‛tikāf, and do not speak except if it is for good.

SUPPLICATION FOR EXITING THE MOSQUE:

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ وَجُنُودِهِ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِه، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ

Exit with the left foot and say: I seek refuge in Allāh from the accursed Satan and his forces. In the Name of Allāh, O Allāh! Bestow blessings upon our master Muḥammad and his family; O Allāh! Forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your grace.
