O our Lord, O our Lord O our Lord, You are our refuge, rescuer, and support
عَجِّلْ بِرَفْعِ مَا نَزَلْ
أَنْتَ رَحِيمٌ لَمْ تَزَلْ
مَنْ غَيْرُكَ عَزَّ وَجَلّْ
وَلَاطِفٌ بِالْعَالَمِين
Hasten to lift what has befallen us You are the Most Merciful and will always remain so Who is there besides You—Mighty and Majestic— and most kind to all the worlds?
رَبِّ اكْفِنَا شَرَّ الْعِدَا
وَخُذْهُمُ وَبَدِّدَا
وَاجْعَلْهُمُ لَنَا فِدَا
وَعِبْرَةً لِلنَّاظِرِين
My Lord, protect us from the evil of our enemies Seize them and scatter them Make them a ransom for us and a lesson for those who look on
يَا رَبِّ شَتِّتْ شَمْلَهُمْ
يَا رَبِّ فَرِّقْ جَمْعَهُمْ
يَا رَبِّ قَلِّلْ عَدَّهُمْ
وَاجْعَلْهُمُ فِى الْغَابِرِين
O Lord, disperse them O Lord, divide them O Lord, minimize their number and make them among those long gone
وَلَا تُبَلِّغْهُمْ مُرَادْ
وَنَارُهُمْ تُصْبِحْ رَمَادْ
بِ﴿كٓهيعٓصٓ﴾
فِى الْحَالِ وَلَّوْا خَائِبِين
Do not let them reach their aim let their fire turn to ash By (the letters) Kāf Hā Yā ʿAyn Ṣād let them turn back at once, defeated
وَشَرِّ كُلِّ مَاكِرِ
وَخَائِنٍ وَغَادِرِ
وَعَايِنٍ وَسَاحِرِ
وَشَرِّ كُلِّ الْمُؤْذِيِين
And (protect us) from the evil of every schemer traitors, and deceivers from the evil eye and from sorcery and from the evil of all who cause harm
مِنْ مُعْتَدٍ وَغَاصِبِ
وَمُفْتَرٍ وَكَاذِبِ
وَفَاجِرٍ وَعَائِبِ
وَحَاسِدٍ وَالشَّامِتِين
From every aggressor and usurper from every slanderer and liar from the immoral and the faultfinding from the envious, the malicious, and those who rejoice in our misfortunes
يَا ذَا الْبَهَا وَذَا السَّنَا
وَذَا الْعَطَا وَذَا الْغِنَى
أَنْتَ مُجِيبُ السَّائِلِين
O Possessor of magnificence and sublimity You are the Giver, the Rich You answer those who ask
يَسِّرْ لَنَا أُمُورَنَا
وَاشْرَح لَنَا صُدُورَنَا
وَاسْتُرْ لَنَا عُيُوبَنَا
فَأَنْتَ بِالسَّتْرِ قَمِين
Make our affairs easy open our hearts cover our defects for You are ever worthy of concealing faults
وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا
وَكُلُّ ذَنْبٍ عِنْدَنا
وَامْنُنْ بِتَوْبَةٍ لَنَا
أَنْتَ حَبِيبُ التَّائِبِين
Forgive our sins and every sin we carry Bless us with repentance You love those who repent
بِجَاهِ سَيِّدِنَا الرَّسُول
وَالْحَسَنَيْنِ وَالْبَتُول
وَالْمُرْتَضَى أَبِي الْفُحُول
وَجَاهِ جِبْرِيلَ الْأَمِين
By the honour of our master, the Messenger and of Ḥasan and Ḥusayn, and al-Batūl and of al-Murtaḍā, the father of heroes and by the honour of Jibrīl the Trustworthy
ثُمَّ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَام
عَلَى النَّبِي خَيْرِ الْأَنَامْ
وَآلِهِ الْغُرِّ الْكِرَامْ
وَصَحْبِهِ وَالتَّابِعِين
And shower Your blessings and peace on the Prophet the best of humankind and upon his noble family his companions and those who follow them
Glory be to your Lord; the Lord of Honour and Power Who is far above what they attribute to Him; And peace be on the Messengers; And praise be to Allāh, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. [Sūrah Al-Ṣāffāt (37), Verses 180-182]
